Importance of China's Foundry Industry

日期: 2019-08-14 16:11

China's foundry industry has always been an important, basic and irreplaceable industry in the national economy, with the advantages of relatively low cost and wide process adaptability. China is a big foundry country, regardless of the annual output of castings, or the number of employees and enterprises has ranked first in the world. With the strengthening of the trend of economic globalization and the continuous development of market economy, the demand and dependence of foundry-related processes, production and management on various standards are increasing. In China, there are still many problems to be solved in order to form large-scale production of aluminium alloy castings and meet the requirements of automobile lightweight. Firstly, the requirements of automobile for aluminium castings are developing in the direction of thin wall, complex shape, high strength and high quality. In order to meet this requirement, casting process should be further optimized and new alloy materials should be developed. Second, we should reduce production costs from the point of view of design and technology, such as the use of a variety of technologies and automation technologies to increase productivity, extend the service life of dies, and reduce the number of parts by integrated design. Thirdly, computer simulation technology is used to shorten the development cycle of process plan. Fourthly, the recycling of aluminium should be strengthened. Recycled aluminium is the main raw material for aluminium casting. While developing foundry industry, China should attach importance to the utilization of reclaimed aluminium resources, develop effective separation technology of aluminium from waste materials of composite materials and heterogeneous materials, and establish a wide waste recycling system.

Our company has rich experience in foundry industry, with more than 70 years of foundry history. Sand casting is preferred for aluminium castings because of its low cost, simple production process and short production cycle compared with other casting methods. After being heated manually, the liquid or melted aluminum alloy is poured into the cavity through professional die or corresponding process, and then cooled to form and removed. Our commonly used casting methods are sand casting, die casting, low pressure casting, precision casting, permanent die casting, lost foam casting and so on. Aluminum castings will be widely used in aviation, aerospace, automobile, machinery and other industries due to their low density, high specific strength and corrosion resistance. It is well received by customers. Especially in the automotive industry, in order to reduce fuel consumption and improve energy efficiency, replacing steel and aluminium castings with aluminium and nickel alloy castings is a long-term development trend. Among them, pollution-free, efficient and easy-to-operate refining technology, deterioration technology, grain refinement technology and fast detection technology in front of furnace are emphatically solved. In order to further improve material properties and maximize material potential, high-quality aluminium alloy materials, especially aluminium castings, can be developed to meet the performance requirements of different working conditions; research on aluminium alloy smelting process should be strengthened; development and Research on continuous aluminium alloy die casting and squeeze casting process and related technologies should be continued; and aluminium alloy smelting equipment should be improved. Research and development of related technologies and processes.
